After a week of rain and cold, Sunday was a gorgeous day in Chicago. We went to the park twice today, the second time Adelaide had a big accomplishment today in toddler-hood: going down the slide alone! Just days before her second birthday! Guess she knew she had some catching up to do ;)
The slide was actually a larger one that has a curve (not as pictured above, which was one of the first time going down a slide a few weeks ago). I think she did it by accident at first - she didn't realized she was going down solo but then when I caught her at the end, she was surprised and excited (Adelaide do-ee!) and proceeded to climb up the stairs in the playstructure and do it again several times.
